DESI PAK® exceeds the requirements of MIL-D-3464D in actual performance and will exceed the water adsorption of Silica Gel at various humidity levels. DESI PAK® is much more economical than Silica Gel with a cost of about half that of Silica Gel. The performance characteristic of DESI PAK® is indicated on the chart below showing the amount of water adsorbed at various humidity levels. Note that the DESI PAK® performance curve exceeds both military specifications, which is the industry standard, and the Silica Gel performance curve. At 20% relative humidity DESI DESI PAK® will adsorb 46% more moisture than required by MIL-D-3464D.

DESI PAK® is ideal for usage where spillage or dusting are problems to be avoided. DESI PAK® is packaged in tear resistant, dust proof bags. Type I bags are general purpose.
