What are desiccant packets?

Sphinx Adsorbents offers a wide range of packet sizes. The packaging films used in the manufacture of the desiccant packets provide extremely quick adsorption rates. Packets meet FDA specifications and are used in many applications, including pharmaceuticals, medical, diagnostics, food, electronics and optica industries. Sorb-It® indicating packets change from blue to pink ii there is moisture in the package. Sorb-It indicating packets provide early and visible warnings against possible humidity damage.

Packets are also available in a continuous strip for automatic loading.

Continu-Strip®  are desiccant packets manufactured in a continuous strip wound on a reel for automatic loading. Continue-Strip products have increased productivity by allowing companies to automate. Sphinx will work with you to tailor the Continu-Strip product line for compatibility with existing equipment to assure product quality and enhance proper separation and insertion capabilities. Continu-Strip hole punch desiccant packets feature a hole in the seal of each packet, which can be detected easily by automated insertion machines for more accurate cuts.
